Election of councillors to Manston Parish

Notice is hereby given under Rule 5 of the Local Elections (Parishes and Communities) (England and Wales) Rules 2006:
1.
There is a vacancy on the Parish Council due to Resignation of Cllr John Dearing.
2.
A by-election to fill the vacancy will be held if, not later than Thursday 15 May 2025, ten electors for the Manston area give notice in writing, claiming such an election be held, to the Returning Officer. If no such notice is given the Parish Council will fill the vacancy by co-option
3.
The address of the Returning Officer is Election Office, Council Offices, Cecil Street, Margate, Kent, CT9 1XZ
