To support a program of carriageway preservation works traffic speeds will be restricted to 40mph on the approach to, and then 20mph through, working sites on Various Roads Dover, Folkestone and Hythe and Thanet as per the schedule below. The 20mph speed restrictions will remain in force during works and for up to 7 days after the completion of preservation activities for the safety of road users.

This Order takes effect on or after 3rd March 2025 for a period of up to 18 months or until the works have been completed. Planned dates will be published in advance of the works and indicated by signage displayed on site 14 days before they start.

THANET

Dane Road, Birchington (40300385)

Speed restrictions (20mph) to be in force the entire length.

Manston Road, Manston (40300819)

Speed restrictions (20mph) to be in force between Manston Road and Haine Road.

Vicarage Street (40301411), Church Street (40300268), Broadstairs

Speed restrictions (20mph) to be in force between Dane Court Road and Hopeville Avenue.

Dumpton Park Drive (40300429), Ramsgate

Speed restrictions (20mph) to be in force between Thanet Road and Muir Road.

A299 THANET WAY (HENGIST WAY), ST NICHOLAS AT WADE/ MINSTER/CLIFFSEND

(LONDON BOUND AND COAST BOUND)

Speed restrictions (40mph & 20mph) to be in force between the St Nicholas at Wade Roundabout to the Seven Score Roundabout
